I love life coaching, so I know I’m a little biased. Of course, being a representative for a coaching company doesn’t help the bias at all! But, I also decided to experience the Compass format and possibilities for myself, so I am also a client. This is to share a little of my personal experience with Compass. Feel free to take in just the parts you most want to and leave the rest as black and white on the screen in front of you.
My experience with Compass so far has been really good. Compass has been around for over 6 years, but the affordable life coaching for women is just getting off the ground. It’s a whole new platform, so there are definitely some learning curves, modifications, and general mayhem in some areas! When I’ve experienced that type of situation in the past, customer service has always been low as well while people try to figure out what to do and how to go about it. Not in this case though! Every question I have had someone has helped me find an answer within 24 hours. When they didn’t know the answer, they’d get it for me and get back to me as promised, or point me in the right direction. And everyone has been so kind! It doesn’t sound like they’re stressed about the upgrades at all! They just talk about how supportive everyone is and how much they appreciate that, and they truly know how to listen before jumping in. How refreshing in a world where “customer service” is so often an unknown info@ or 1-800 number.
And that’s just my experience as a representative so far.
As a client I’m equally impressed. I LOVE the MAP program = Monthly Action Plan. Each month Compass takes a theme and breaks it down into 10 mins a day that moves you to your goal. Just 10 mins! But it’s the consistent steps that make the difference. There’s a workbook and an audio, so you can learn in the style that best fits you. And again, the support and community is there. Between the online resources, audio library that allows you to listen to previous themes, telebridge calls to connect with others, and the 1 to 1 coaching, this is the best experience of life coaching I’ve ever had!
My coach before was great! Don’t get me wrong. But she was one person and her time with me was limited – as it needed to be so that she could serve all of her clients. Afterall, there are only so many hours in a day that any one of us can work. But the community with Compass and the different options really feel good – and they’re so much less expensive!
This month’s topic is FUN – all about how to bring more fun into your life. The first week is about remembering what it means to have fun for you. Not what fun is for someone else, but what it is for you. What activities are fun for you? Why? What activities are NOT fun for you? And why? What would life look like if you were having the kind of fun you really want every day?
These are important questions! If we’re having fun, we’re more likely to continue doing what you’re doing – which leads to success, confidence, and a positive perpetuation of fun in your life. Not to mention the health benefits of the lack of stress induced by a healthy dose of fun! Can you imagine feeling good every day? Wow! How cool would that be?
I’m working my way through my MAP program this month and enjoying every step! If you’re interested in learning more about it, visit Compass Online.
As of today I now have two articles published at www.beneaththecover.com. If you’re not familiar with the website, it’s an online article bank for authors. It’s also one of the more credible websites because of the approval process in place before an article is accepted. It’s an invaluable resource as well. I encourage to check it out. And while you’re there, check out my two recently published articles:
